PM Petrol Relief Scheme: Monthly Quotas & Vehicle Eligibility
The purpose of the PM Petrol Relief Scheme is to ease the burden of citizens who rely on low-capacity vehicles for livelihood. Here is the list of eligible vehicles and monthly petrol quotas for each vehicle.
Fuel Relief for Eligible Vehicles
Eligible non-commercial vehicle owners can receive a direct Rs. 100 per litre petrol relief under the scheme.
Motorcycles
All eligible two-wheelers can receive petrol relief.
Rickshaws
Standard three-wheelers are eligible for the fuel relief.
Qingqi Rickshaws
Passenger and loader Qingqis are covered by the scheme.
800cc Cars
Eligible small cars with an engine capacity of 800cc.
The scheme is restricted to non-commercial users and is limited to one eligible vehicle per user or owner. Each token provides a discount on 5 litres for motorcycles and three-wheelers, while eligible car owners can claim a discount on 10 litres per token.

How to Claim the Fuel Relief
The above-shared process is just to register your vehicle under the 9771 petrol subsidy platform. However, to claim the discounted petrol, you have to generate an online token (TOK). When you plan to visit a fuel station for a petrol refill, text TOK to 9771. You will receive an automated text message with a unique fuel-relief token specifically designed for a single use. You have to show the code to the fuel station attendant to get an on-the-spot Rs. 100 per liter discount.
Important Note: Whether you utilize the code or not, the token will automatically expire after 7 days for motorcycles and three-wheelers. For cars with an 800 cc engine capacity, the validity period is 10 days.
